Welcome to kindergarten Chinese, Math, and Science. I am extremely proud to be a part of the kindergarten team at Mandarin Immersion Magnet School (MIMS). My name is Yonghui Wang. I come from Fujian, China, where I started my educational career as a certified middle school teacher in 1998. I have been working at MIMS since its inception in 2012. I have previously taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade, but teaching kindergarten has been my greatest career passion and happiness. I was named 2017 Teacher of the Year and 2022 MSO Bilingual Teacher of the Year. I received my Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction.  

I have two amazing children. I enjoy hiking, skiing, swimming, gardening, and spending time with my family and friends. I truly love teaching and I am looking forward to working with your child along with your involvement for another fantastic school year!
