Countless Best Actor and Supporting Actor awards, including the Samuel French Best Actor award at the state UIL one-act play competition, the highest award in high school theatre in Texas, won by John Bass. The theatre department has also been nominated for Best Musical, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Supporting Actor in the high school musical Tommy Tune Awards.
