    How it works
To use your personal legal plan, visit the MetLife Legal website and click Log In. Click Create Account to begin. You can also call MetLife Legal’s Client Service Center weekdays at 800-821-6400.
Your spouse and dependents are also eligible for legal services. They simply need to follow the same instructions.

    The client service representative:

    • Verifies your eligibility
    • Makes an initial determination of your case (an attorney makes the final determination)
    • Gives you a case number
    • Gives you the telephone number of the plan attorney most convenient to you
    • Answers any questions you have about your legal plan

After you receive your case number and your plan attorney’s telephone number, call the plan attorney, identify yourself as a legal plan member referred to him or her by MetLife Legal Plans and request an appointment for a consultation. Give your plan attorney your case number, the name of the legal plan you belong to and the type of legal matter you are calling about.

Evening and Saturday appointments are available.
