Degrees and Certifications:
Hi Falcons! This will be my 7th year in public education and 1st year at East Early, I am very excited to be a part of the East Early team. I was born in Houston and raised in the East End, I continue to reside in the area. I love the community and culture that make the East End such a special place to be a part of. I earned my Bachelors degree in Communications from the University of Houston-Downtown, and my Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech University. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and fiance. During my free time I like to read, cook, netflix, and take care of my adorable little house plants. I love teaching and am always seeking ways to improve my teaching style. I am looking forward to getting to know you all this school year!
Professional Communications blends written, oral, and graphic communication in a career-based environment. Careers in the global economy require individuals to be creative and have a strong background in computer and technology applications, a strong and solid academic foundation, and a proficiency in professional oral and written communication. Within this context, students will be expected to develop and expand the ability to write, read, edit, speak, listen, apply software applications, manipulate computer graphics, and conduct Internet research.
