My name is Gary Keese. I teach Technology Applications (6th, 7th and 8th) and Yearbook. I started teaching in HISD in 1995 when I completed training in the first class of the Alternative Certification Program ever offered. I came to Lanier Middle School after six years in elementary and I am on my 24th year at Lanier.

 

In addition to my teaching duties I organize the annual 6th grade Washington DC Spring Tour. I started attending the trip with Mr. Henley who is now retired. This will be my 18th year to go on the trip and my 9th year to have organized it since Mr. Henley retired. This will be our 27th consecutive year to make this annual trip. The trip takes place March 13-17, 2015 and is open to any 6th grader. More information can be obtained at the informational meetings in September.
