• AP– Sending results to HCC

    • Students signing up to take AP/ CLEP exams should include Houston Community College Systems/ District (0929) as the school/ institution they would like to send their results to.
      • After scores have been received by HCC, it may take up to eight weeks to post to student’s account/ transcript.

     

    • Students who may have already taken the exam, should verify through their College Board account if they requested scores to be sent to HCC first.
      • If scores were sent to HCC, student should then verify credits were posted on their HCC transcript by logging into their HCC Student Sign In account.
        • If scores were sent, but are not posted on their HCC transcript, they will need to follow blue starred â steps below.
      • If scores were not sent to HCC, student will have to request scores to be sent to Houston Community College Systems/ District (0929).
        • There is a $15 fee to send scores, which is due at time of request.
        • After scores have been received by HCC, it may take up to eight weeks to post to student’s account/ transcript.

     

    • Students using AP/ CLEP credits for completion of degree must send/ request scores to be sent to HCC when requesting their exam or as soon as they take their exam. Seniors should have already requested scores to be sent to HCC by their Junior spring/ summer semester.
      • Credits not received/ posted and required for completion, by degree confirmation period, will be denied graduation for filing semester. Student will then have to apply for graduation for the following semester, to receive degree completion status.   

    â If scores were sent to HCC and not posted to transcript, and the eight week posting/ uploading period has elapsed, student will need to email the following College Board documents to Rosario.Salazar@hccs.edu:

    • Student Score Report – gives student name, AP number, School info, Year exam was taken and score
      • Page should be saved as a PDF, not screenshot or picture
    • Score Send Order History – gives college name scores were sent to and date scores were sent
      • Page should be saved as a PDF, not screenshot or picture
    • Student must send requested PDF documents via their HCC Student Email:
      • Include expected graduation year
      • Once requested PDF documents are received, please allow up to eight weeks for posting to student’s account/ transcript.
      • Student should verify credit postings through their HCC Student Sign account.
