MONDAY PRACTICES ARE CANCELLED
Do to the heavy rains coming our way this evening through Tuesday the practices that were scheduled for Monday, September 13th are cancelled.
As of now the games are on for Tuesday at Pin Oak. If that changes I will update everyone ASAP

VICTORY FOR THE PURPLE PUPS
Both the 7th and 8th grade teams earned victories against the Welch Wolves. Under sweltering conditions the girls went toe-to-toe with the Wolves. Our girls earned the win with both great serves and lots of hustle. They passed the ball well and got to almost everything the Wolves put over the net.
We are looking forward to the next match on Tuesday, Sept. 14th at Pin Oak. Let's Go Puuups!

Volleyball Paperwork
In order to tryout all paperwork must be submitted on the Register My Athlete website.
Please click on the link to the HISD Athletics Page to get more information on the Register my Athlete program.Here is a copy of the Physical Examination Form (HISD will only accept a physical on this form)PAPERWORK
Medical History - This must be filled out by a parent or guardian
Sports Physical - This must be signed off on by a doctor
Insurance Waiver - If you plan to use your own insurance you must sign the insurance waiver and submit the insurance information. You will also need to get the form notarized or have a Lanier Administrator sign off on it.
HISD Insurance - HISD athletics insurance must be purchased if you don't have insurance to use
There are several other forms that must be filled out as well.
***Students will not be able to particiapte in tryouts, practices or games if the paperwork is not complete.***
SPORTS PHYSICALS
Dr. Hopkins with Equity Urgent Care is offering free sports physicals for our Lanier community. The clinic is located in the new Target shopping center. They are also available for sports injuries and other health care needs.
