Lacrosse - Girls

  •

Lamar Women’s Lacrosse is increasingly competitive in the Texas Girls High School Lacrosse League. The team offers both Junior Varsity and Varsity level players.

The Lamar Women’s Lacrosse Board of Directors, run exclusively by parent volunteers, hosts an informational meeting in early September for new and returning players. This is followed by an optional, yet highly recommended, fall practice schedule, beginning in mid-September, which helps returning players renew and develop their skills, while incoming freshmen adapt to the high school level of play. Team selection is completed in January prior to the start of the season. The regular season runs from January to mid-April, potentially followed by playoff games into early May.

This club, associated with Lamar High School, holds all practices and home games off site at the South Campus sports complex. There is a nominal fee for fall practice for players who choose to participate. There is required fee for the season with payment due in December. Financial assistance is available on an individual basis.

Players are eligible to earn off campus P.E. credit through participation in this club sport.

The team is dynamic, and competitive with goals of winning the season, participating in championship tournaments and preparing the player for college level play. For a complete calendar of our activities and updates throughout the year, please visit lamarwlax.org.
