Head Coach Michael Lindsey has taken over the program after 32 years of success under Tom Nolen. Lamar has kept up the winning tradition under Lindsey by going undefeated in winning the 18-6A District Championship for 2018. Coach Lindsey’s approach is to work with the many students aspiring to be football players and to create a wholesome program for the students where they can achieve physical excellence for themselves and for their team. This provides an opportunity for students to work rigorously at a year-long physical fitness program that enhances social development and team mentality. The Lamar football program is open to all freshman students wishing to participate, all other new students should contact Coach Lindsey. An athletic packet must be completed before your student can step on the field. The athletic packet is available on-line for your convenience and in the athletic office, W106.
