ACADEMIC TEAMS AND CLUSTERS: In order to create smaller communities within Lanier’s large school setting, all students will be assigned to a cluster or academic team. Each team will consist of approximately 150 students and 5 academic teachers. Flexible block scheduling creates a common planning and conference time for each academic team, provides a supportive environment for students, and facilitates communication between home and school.
