• LEAVING SCHOOL DURING THE DAY

When a student is to leave campus during the school day, he/she must bring a note from a parent stating the reason, time to be picked up, and the telephone number for verification. The student is to bring the note to the Attendance Office before school starts. The student will be given a permit to meet the parent in the Attendance Office at the designated pick-up time, and then be signed out. The student simply shows the permit to the teacher and reports directly to the Attendance Office to meet parent/guardian and sign-out. At no time will a child be released to any person other than the parent or a person listed on the enrollment card. Special arrangements can be made but only with express permission from the parent and a state ID presented by the person picking up the child. Students are never permitted to go out to a car to be picked-up.
