Mr. Raymond Gayle is the instructor responsible for Lamar Cable Television. Students are trained in all aspects of video and news production then assigned different roles that are required to air the program every weekday around 11:30AM. Shows are broadcast on the Lamar cable system (Channel 3) , streamed on the HISD newtwork, and archived on the schools video archive. This is part of the Career & Technology education cluster. Our goal is to prepare students for employment in the broadcast and journalism industry. In order to participate in LCTV, the student needs to be registered for the “Principles of Arts, A/V Technology & Communications” course. After they have completed that, they must take another Technology & Communications course (see list below), in order to participate in the LCT Program.- Audio Video Production
