CTE Arts, Audio Visual Technology & Communications
The Arts, A/V Technology and Communications program of study combines creativity and technology to prepare students for one of today’s leading industries with a focus on careers in designing, producing, exhibiting, performing, writing, and publishing multimedia content and entertainment services. These pathways leads to project-based work on one of the Lamar publications: Lamar Life Publications, The Republic Yearbook, or The Lamar Cable Television Broadcast Program. Animation, Audio/Visual Production, Commercial Photography, Printing and Imaging Technology, and Graphic Design are all programs available at Lamar. Students receive certification in Adobe Premier or Adobe InDesign.
