Mr. Bonilla was born in El Salvador and came to the United States at the age of 13.  He is a product of Houston ISD, attending Burbank Middle School and graduating from Sam Houston Math, Science, and Technology Center. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Bilingual Education from the University of Houston-Downtown. This is Mr. Bonilla's twenty-second year working at Burbank, eighteen of those as a Dual Language Math Teacher.

Mr. Bonilla strives to make his classroom a place where students want to be and learn something new every day.  He is committed to helping his students to reach their full potential, so they become productive members of society.
