Four years ago, Ms. Cole began her teaching career at Burbank Middle School as an English Language Arts teacher in the 6th grade Vanguard Academy. Last year, she moved to teaching English Language Arts in the 7th grade Excel Academy, where she was elected by her peers as the 2022-2023 HAABSE Teacher of the Year for Burbank Middle School.
