Greetings!! I am a native Houstonian and a product of the Houston Independent School District. I completed my education at Texas Southern University with a degree in Psychology. After a quick career change, I continued my education by becoming a certified teacher in Special Education and English as a Second Language (ESL). This is my 22nd year teaching in HISD, at Burbank Middle School. The climate at Burbank is always alive with student growth and success. I am proud to continue to have a place among such great educators. For the past twenty years, I have taught the Skills for Learning and Living, self-contained class. I desire for my students to achieve their personal goals and academic growth.
