Ms. Shantay Graham is from the New England area. She graduated from the University of Maine at Presque Isle with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems with a concentration in Business Administration. She also earned a master's degree in Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University.

Ms. Graham worked in the technology industry for some years. However, she has been in education for many years, teaching in several Houston districts and a well-known charter school. This is her fifth year at Burbank Middle School and her sixteenth year teaching.

Ms. Graham is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming, learning environment for all students by using art, technology, and real-world activities. She teaches eighth mathematics and serves as the Cluster Leader in the 8th Grade Excel Academy.
