6th Grade Assistant Principal

Ms. Dean has more than 30 years of experience in education, including over 20 years in HISD. She earned her Bachelor's Degree with Honors from Sam Houston University and her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin University.

Ms. Dean began her teaching career as a science teacher at Bellaire High School. From there, she came to Black Middle School in 2016 to begin her administrative career as the 7th grade Dean of Students, where she worked to develop and enhance many school programs. This year, Ms. Dean will be the 6th grade Assistant Principal at Burbank Middle School as well as the administrator over Mathematics.
