Ms. Carla González is the new Language and Culture Assistant at Burbank Middle School. She was born and raised in Sama, a beautiful town in Langreo in the north of Spain, close to Oviedo, the Capital of Asturias. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish as well as a Master's Degree in Teachers of Compulsory Secondary Education from the University of Oviedo. She's currently studying for her teaching exam to obtain a position as a Spanish Language and Literature teacher in her native Spain.

Ms. González will be working very closely with our students in the Dual Language Academy, especially in the Spanish classes. We are very happy to welcome her to the Eagle's Nest!
