Mrs. Dominguez attended neighborhood schools in HISD, including Janowski and Burbank Middle School. She is a proud graduate of Sam Houston High School.

Mrs. Dominguez earned an associate degree from Houston Community College and a bachelor’s degree in Business Finance from the University of Houston–Downtown. She recognized the importance of building her community and giving back and returned to Burbank to fulfill her dream of becoming a teacher at Burbank Middle school.

During her years of teaching here at Burbank Middle School she has enjoyed watching young minds flourish.  After being a teacher for a few years, she went back to school to obtain a Masters in Leadership Administration from Lamar University. Now she's back at Burbank, where she is the Math Department Chair as well as a math teacher in the 7th grade Vanguard Academy.
