Ms. Arenas graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Literature. She holds a Certification in Spanish in Secondary Education.  Ms. Arenas teaches Spanish II and Spanish I in 7th grade as well as AP Spanish. This year is her twenty-first year at Burbank Middle School. 

As a teacher, Ms. Arenas is committed to promoting Spanish language learning and diffusing Hispanic culture among our diverse HISD student population.
