Ms. Mallada is our Spanish Language Teacher Assistant. She comes to us from the beautiful city of Zaragoza in northern Spain. It is one of the five largest cities in the country, only a couple of hours' drive from the mountains and the beach.

A graduate of the University of Zaragoza, she became a teacher of early childhood education, specializing in students with educational learning needs. She continued her studies, completing a Master's Degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, which is what brought her to Houston. She came to Houston in early September 2023 to remain for the current school year.

Ms. Mallada loves the mountains and extreme sports, but also enjoys quieter activities like reading. As Richard Steele said, "Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body".
