    Dear Burbank Students, Parents, and Community Members,
     
    It is a great honor and a source of pride to be the Principal of Burbank Middle School, and  it is with great commitment and dedication that I serve the Burbank community. During my tenure as a Spanish and ESL teacher at Lee High School and later as Assistant Principal and Dean of Students at Burbank, I embraced the diverse population of recent-arrival immigrants and have worked to ensure them a smooth transition into the educational system of our state.  It is my continuing goal to ensure a quality education for all our students.
     
    I assure you that the standard of excellence and the quality of education that your students will receive will be the best that HISD has to offer. Burbank will continue to be the school of choice that values diversity and high-quality academics.

    Estimados Estudiantes, Padres y Miembros de la Comunidad de Burbank,
     
    Es un honor y un orgullo ser el principal de Burbank Middle School, y es con un fuerte compromiso y dedicación que me propongo continuar sirviendo a la comunidad de Burbank. Durante el tiempo que fui profesor de Español y de Inglés como Segundo Idioma, y luego como Asistente del Director y Decano de Estudiantes en Burbank, siempre acogí a la población de inmigrantes recientes, y siempre trabajé para que tuvieran una transición sin dificultades en el sistema educativo de nuestro estado. Mi meta sigue siendo asegurar una educación de calidad para todos nuestros alumnos.
     
    Quisiera reiterarles que el nivel de excelencia y la calidad de la educación que recibirán sus hijos continuarán siendo lo mejor que HISD ofrece. Burbank continuará siendo la escuela de preferencia que valora la diversidad y la enseñanza de calidad.
