    Aaron Rodriguez—Lee High School

    Aaron Rodriguez, who enjoys canoeing, model building, and practicing the flute, attended Cunningham Elementary and Pin Oak Middle schools before graduating from Lee. His favorite subjects are English and science.

     Rodriguez is a member of his school’s National Honor Society.He has also participated for the last three years in the school’s humanitarianism magnet program. Rodriguez plans to study medicine this fall at Yale University.

    Niyonsaba Magnifique plans to study computer science at Texas A&M University this fall, using the Foundation Excellence and POSSE Foundation scholarships she received. She attended an elementary school in Tanzania and Las Américas Middle School before graduating from Lee. Magnifique lists her favorite subject as mathematics.

    Magnifique is a member of the National Honor Society. She is also active in the Yearbook Club and the University of Texas Outreach Program. She is an Honor Roll student who has been recognized for maintaining a perfect-attendance record. In her free time, Magnifique enjoys reading, knitting, and playing with children.
