     Fixed Assets Life Cycle
     
    The Fixed Assets Accounting department is part of the Controller’s Office and has the following main functions:
    1. Ensure the purchase, transfer and disposal of district assets are performed according to district policy and accurately reflected in the district’s asset records.
    2. Ensure the district’s asset balances are reported correctly on the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).
    3. Facilitation of the annual fixed assets inventory audit.
