The Office of Student Discipline supports parents, students, central office, and campuses with student-discipline-related issues, questions, and concerns. Specifically, the department handles the review, approval, and processing of referrals to the Discipline Alternative Education Program (DAEP) and expulsions to the Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP).

The Office of Student Discipline (OSD) spearheads the implementation and assessment of student discipline policies and procedures within Houston ISD.
