Windows 7 support is nearing end-of-life from Microsoft

At this time, Microsoft will stop releasing system updates and critical security patches for support and maintenance of the operating system.

For the past two (2) years Houston ISD Information Technology teams have been actively upgrading all workstations from Microsoft Windows 7 Operating System to Microsoft Windows 10 Operating System.

The project deadline is quickly approaching and your workstation has been identified as currently running Windows 7 which still needs the upgrade. We ask for your assistance in supporting with this migration by immediately contacting your local tech or the Information Technology Service Desk to request the Windows 10 upgrade. Failure to do so could result in an inoperable workstation.

Thank you for your support and assistance in the upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10.
