Class of 2019 Valedictorians and Salutatorians

  • Each spring, HISD honors the valedictorian and salutatorian at each of its high schools with a formal celebration of their outstanding academic achievements. 

    In 2019, the district recognized the top scholars at the annual Scholars Banquet on April 16 at the Westin Galleria. The valedictorian is a student who has earned the highest grade point average in his or her graduating class, and the salutatorian has the second highest grade point average.
