    Luis Espinoza—Westbury High School

    Luis Espinoza attended Sugar Grove Elementary and Fondren Middle schools before coming to Westbury. He serves as secretary of the Technology Squad (Computer Maintenance Club), and he has also been active in the National Honor Society. Espinoza lists his favorite subject as science.

    Espinoza is an Honor Roll student who has received recognition for outstanding performance in Advanced Placement Human Geography and Spanish. He plans to pursue a degree in computer science at the University of Houston this fall. In his spare time, Espinoza enjoys riding his bike and playing soccer and tennis.

    Norma Pleitez—Westbury High School

    Norma Pleitez attended Sutton and Gross Elementary and Welch Middle schools before coming to Westbury. She plans to attend Oklahoma State University, Texas A&M University, or Houston Baptist University, where she will pursue a degree in pharmacology. Pleitez is a member of the varsity track and field, cross country, and volleyball teams. She is also active in the National Honor Society.

    Pleitez is an Honor Roll student and an Advanced Placement Scholar who has been recognized for exemplary performance in geography and cross country. She is also the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship from the University of Portland, and an Academic Scholarship from Houston Baptist University. Pleitez enjoys running, volunteering, and spending time with her friends and family.
