Elizabeth Henderson
Elizabeth Henderson—Worthing High School
Elizabeth Henderson plans to attend the University of Texas or Prairie View A&M University to pursue a degree in nursing or education. She attended Thompson Elementary and Woodson Middle schools before coming to Worthing. Henderson has been active in the Student Council, track and field, and speech and debate activities. Her favorite subjects are literature and English.
Henderson serves as the president of the National Honor Society and captain of the softball and volleyball teams. She was named Miss Worthing in 2014, and she has been recognized with an award for Most Outstanding Service Project. She also won a Mickey Leland Kibbutzim Internship to travel to Israel as a junior. In her spare time, Henderson enjoys tutoring children, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Arthur BradshawArthur Bradshaw—Worthing High School
Arthur Bradshaw is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and Gents Club (a service organization). He has also been active on the football and basketball teams. Bradshaw lists his favorite subject as mathematics. He will pursue a degree in engineering from Rice University, Texas A&M University, or the University of Oregon this fall.
Bradshaw attended Peck Elementary and Woodson Middle schools before coming to Worthing. He has been named Fox 26’s Honda Player of the Year and Newsfix’s Class Act. He was also included in the Academic All-State team. In his spare time, Bradshaw enjoys studying and playing sports and video games.
