This year’s theme is Building Connections: Together We Are One. The summit will provide parents and caregivers with the opportunity to receive important and resourceful Special Education updates and information to better support and empower you as a partner in your child’s education. Special Education directors and managers will provide area office updates and you will also have access to additional resources through a vendor fair including 20+ HISD departments, out-of-district vendors, and Special Education teams and divisions. Enjoy a performance from Waltrip High School’s Jazz Band, and take part in raffle prizes and giveaways!

HISD departments and out-of-district vendors/partners who will be in attendance: Office of School Choice, Transportation Services, Gifted & Talented, Multilingual, Dyslexia, SEL/Counseling & Student Services, Assistive Technology, Lakeshore Learning, Partners Resource Network, Avance, Goalbook, Houston Public Library, and many more!
