On one side of the wall, where you perfectly stand, there is a normalcy of the situation: the ticks of the clock telling time, the sound of your cat scratching their post, and the sound of liquid dripping into a flowery vase. All is completely normal, but if everything else except you were to disappear, how would one know just how much time the hairless, brawny creature–one much larger and toothier than your cat–from the other side has left to scratch on the door in front of them before their blood runs out?
