    Giselle Ventura

    Giselle Ventura intends to study biology at Cornell University. She attended Roosevelt Elementary and Lanier Middle Schools before coming to NHECHS, and she is a member of the STEM Club, the Robotics Club, and the Mixed Martial Arts Club. Ventura has also been active on the debate team and the yearbook staff.

    Ventura lists her favorite subject as English, and her hobbies include reading, baking, and archery. An “octo-finalist” in the Houston Urban Debate League city championship, Ventura has been included on the Principal's Honor Roll for all four years. She is also the recipient of a President's Achievement Scholarship, and a Metropolitan Scholarship from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.

    Uriel Ramos—North Houston Early College High School

    Uriel Ramos is a product of Lyons Elementary and Burbank Middle Schools. He plans to major in his favorite subject-biology-at the University of Houston. Ramos is an Honor Roll student whose hobbies include jogging, playing soccer, and tutoring other students. He is the recipient of a scholarship from Baylor University.

    Ramos has been active in the National Honor Society, the Houston Urban Debate League, and the Robotics Club. He has been recognized for his leadership and his performance in debate competitions, and he is the recipient of the Houston Community College Excellence and Academic Awards.
