    Senaida Ortiz lists her favorite subjects as mathematics and English. She plans to pursue a major in psychiatry or veterinary medicine at Houston Community College.

    Ortiz attended Young Elementary and Ortiz Middle Schools before coming to REACH Charter High School. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, and playing volleyball.

    Marisa Mariscal—REACH Charter High School

    Marisa Mariscal attended Pugh Elementary School and a junior high in Channelview ISD before enrolling in REACH. She is a member of her school's varsity volleyball and softball teams. She is also active in Health Occupation Students of America and the Student Council.

    Mariscal lists her favorite subject as world history, and she plans to pursue a degree in kinesiology at the University of Houston-Downtown. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, reading, and playing softball.
