    Nimra Aleem—Lee High School

     

    Nimra Aleem will be attending the University of Houston this fall to pursue a degree in pre-medicine. She attended Sutton Elementary and Pin Oak Middle schools before graduating from Lee. Aleem is a member of the National Honor Society and a participant in Junior Statesmen of America and Close-Up Washington D.C.

     

    In her spare time, Aleem enjoys traveling, swimming, and playing soccer. She has been recognized as a Top Naviance User and for maintaining a perfect attendance record. Aleem is an Honor Roll student who has been certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation. She is the recipient of a Phi Beta Kappa Scholarship, and she lists her favorite subject as science.

    Shaista Ali—Lee High School

     

    Shaista Ali attended Sutton Elementary and Pin Oak Middle schools before coming to Lee. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Journalism Club, and Lee Unity. She is also active in the British American Foundation of Texas and the University of Texas Outreach Close-Up program.

     

    Ali plans to pursue a degree in engineering at the University of Houston, using the Top Ten Percent Scholarship she received. She is an Honor Roll student who has been recognized as a Top Naviance User and for maintaining a perfect attendance record. Ali lists her favorite subject as mathematics. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, traveling, and playing badminton.
