    Lenesha Riley—Wheatley High School

     

    Lenesha Riley lists her favorite subjects as mathematics and history. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Student Council, and the Diamonds of Elegance Club. She is also active on her school’s varsity basketball and volleyball teams.

     

    A product of HISD, Riley attended Dogan Elementary and Fleming Middle schools. She plans to pursue a degree in biology or education at Prairie View A&M University or Sam Houston State University. Riley is the recipient of scholarships from Project GRAD Houston and the Texas Legislative Black Caucus. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, tumbling, and reading.

    Kelsea Fields—Wheatley High School

     

    Kelsea Fields attended Atherton Elementary and Fleming Middle schools before graduating from Wheatley. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Student Council, and Mademoiselles (a service organization). She is also active in the Dancing Dolls and the Platinum Dolls.

     

    Fields lists her favorite subjects as science and mathematics, and she hopes to pursue a degree in kinesiology at Stephen F. Austin University. She was named Miss Wheatley in 2013 and 11th-grade princess in 2012. She is also the recipient of scholarships from Project GRAD Houston and the Texas Legislative Black Caucus. In her spare time, Fields enjoys dancing, sewing, and tutoring children.
