Houston Independent School District is seeking applications from title companies interested in being considered for inclusion on a list of vendors that have been reviewed for use in certain real estate transactions.

 

 

Interested title companies are invited to complete the Title Company Questionnaire.  Please download the Title Company Questionnaire, complete the requested information, and email the completed questionnaire to Leesa Love, Senior Manager, Real Estate, at LLOVE@houstonisd.org.

 

 

In addition to the questionnaire, please email copies of all current licenses, permits, fees, and similar authorizations required by the City of Houston, Harris County, and the State of Texas to conduct business.

 

 

For a title company to remain on the list, renewed copies of licenses, permits, fees, and similar authorizations required by the City of Houston, Harris County, and the State of Texas must be provided to HISD when they are renewed.

 

 

HISD, at its sole discretion, will determine whether a title company will be added to the list.  Being posted or added to the list of available title companies to provide this type of service does not create any interest in HISD work or guarantee any work.

 

HISD is merely making available names of title companies who have expressed interest in providing this type of service and who have provided documentation to HISD that they are properly licensed and permitted to provide the service.
