Asian-American College and Career Day Scheduled for November 19

HISD’s annual Asian-American College and Career Day (PDF) will be taking place on the campus of Bellaire High School (5100 Maple, 77401) on Saturday, November 19, 2011, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, so that Asian-American middle- and high-school students can explore college and career opportunities and begin planning for their future.
Admission is free, but advanced registration is strongly encouraged.

The event will include workshops for both students and parents, and special workshops for parents will be offered in Cantonese, Bhutanese, English, Mandarin, and Vietnamese.
