Mammograms Being Offered to All Female Employees
Employees not enrolled in benefits plans may qualify for free, reduced-cost exams

The Rose, a non-profit organization dedicated to the reduction of breast-cancer-related deaths, will be offering on-site screening mammograms at the Hattie Mae White Educational Support Center (4400 W. 18th Street) to women who meet certain criteria.
The mobile mammogram facility will be there on October 11, October 20, October 25, and October 31, as well as at several other locations on different dates through the end of the month (see a full schedule here).
All HISD insurance plans will be accepted, and uninsured women may qualify for free mammograms or reduced rates. Payment plans will also be available.
To schedule an appointment, call 713-556-6655 or send an e-mail to anashjr@houstonisd.org. Interested women are encouraged to act quickly, as only a limited number of mammograms can be performed each day.
