Registration is now open for the fourth annual HISD Foundation Charity Golf Tournament, to be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010.
The HISD foundation is dedicated to the support of the Houston Independent School District and its mission of providing every student the best possible education. Established in 1994, the HISD Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that is governed by a volunteer board of directors that includes local business, industry, and community leaders. The HISD Foundation’s philanthropic efforts focus on overall institutional funding priorities as set forth by the superintendent of schools.
The net proceeds of the HISD Foundation Charity Golf Tournament support HISD programs in the areas of literature, science, mathematics, and the arts.
