Locally and nationally, donors have opened their hearts in the wake of Hurricane Harvey to help our students and schools recover from the devastation. Our volunteers and staff have been working overtime as truckload after truckload rolls in with donations of clothing, school supplies, toiletries, and food. And, to date, the HISD Foundation has received more than $1.3 million in monetary donations.
