Our process has changed. We are experiencing a higher-than-usual volume of requests. Your patience and cooperation are appreciated. Walk-ins, mail, email, fax, and phone requests will not be accepted. Please visit https://houstonisdtx.scriborder.com for all requests and electronic payment options. This website is optimized for modern web browsers.

Requests will be processed on normal school business days during regular school business hours (Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM). Please allow up to 15 school business days for processing.

If a request is pending beyond 15 days, and an escalation is being requested, contact HISD at StudentRecords@houstonisd.org for a status update.

Please note the information below:

• Per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and District policy, student records are only released to the student or parent/guardian of a student under 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian or responsible person without the student’s written consent and copy of the student’s state identification.
• Per Texas State Education Agency Requirements, "Official" transcripts may not be issued directly to students or parents but may be sent directly to the college or institution.  Students may request and receive "Unofficial" transcripts.
• All requests will be checked for accuracy. Any inaccurate information may result in your record not being processed. All communication with regard to your order, payment, our progress, and the records delivery will be sent via email.
