I can't hear the presenter in the meeting or they can't hear me when I talk.
Test your device settings by clicking on your picture in the top toolbar and going to Settings > Devices > Make a Test Call. Play around with the device options to see if any of them will allow you to hear/record a test call.I can't get into the session I need to attend. It says it's full.
Check to see if there's a second meeting link for your topic. Several of the topics that were expecting high attendance set up second meeting rooms for this purpose.I lost my internet connection and got kicked out of my meeting. Now I can't get back in.
Unfortunately, once you leave a meeting — whether by voluntary means or not — there's no guarantee you will be able to get back in it if it's full. In that case, check to see if there's a second meeting link for your topic. Several of the topics that were expected to have high attendance set up second meeting rooms for this purpose. -
What is the time frame for valid staff development hours to request a comp day for November 3, 2020?
The professional development (PD) should occur between June 3, 2020 to current date (date of submission). The PD hours should have been completed outside of duty time.Is there a form to track Professional Development for Teachers that have accumulated the required number of staff development hours?
Yes, you can use this form to track Professional Development for the year. This form can also be used to submit the request for COMP day (November 3rd).May other staff request a comp day for November 3, 2020?
The PD Comp Day is only for Teacher and Administrators who have a large number of training requirements/opporunites from June to present on non-duty time (content, skill/resource leraning, compliance, etc.) The time that Teachers and/or Administrators spent in training during non-duty time (not compensated) can be used for Comp on November 3rd. Para-professional Teacher Aides would also be included if attended non-duty/compensated training. If other employees have accumulated pre-approved comp time for other tasks by an Administrator, that would be a local campu decision to allow use on November 3rd. However, if the PD Comp is not applied. This is a regular work day for all other 12-Month Employees.
For Teachers who are participating in PD, will they need to report to campuses for PD or may they report virtually?
Teachers can participate in professional development sessions virtually from a non-school location. This is a regular work day for all other 12-Month Employees. The Campus Principal (i.e. campus that is hosting voting) can determine with Area Office notice/approval to assign all staff to virtual reporting for November 3rd.I can't get into the session I need to attend. It says it's full.
