Burbank Middle School's PTO is sending home a letter inviting all parents and guardians to participate in their activities throughout the year. All our parents and guardians have automatic membership in the PTO.
In order to establish a starting point in the funding of all activities, the PTO Board is asking for a $5.00 annual donation from each family, which can be returned in the envelope provided with the letter sent home. The PTO will provide a "doughnut breakfast" for each homeroom in each academy that returns the highest number of donations!
El PTO de Burbank Middle School está enviando una carta invitando a todos los padres y encargados de nuestros estudiantes a participar en las actividades que están planificadas para este año escolar. Todos los padres y encargados son miembros del PTO automáticamente.
Para poder establecer un punto de partida para poder costear las actividades de este año, la Junta Directiva del PTO está pidiendo a cada familia una donación anual de $5.00, la cual se puede devolver a la escuela en el sobre que se envía con la carta. ¡El PTO proveerá un "desayuno con donas" a cada salón hogar en cada academia que aporte el mayor número de donaciones!

Your PTO is hard at work, raising funds to provide assistance to Burbank Middle School, its students and teachers. Some activities are:
- Snack sales during Family Nights and other after school activities
- Community Yard Sales- one per semester, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
- Valentine's School Dance from 4:05-6:00 pm
For the past twelve years, with the exception of the pandemic years, the PTO has also hosted a Teacher Thanksgiving Luncheon in appreciation of the amazing work our teachers do every day. This year, the PTO is adding a Teacher and Staff Holiday Breakfast.
PTO will continue to sell some food items during lunches, one Friday in each month except for November and December.
This year, the PTO would like to give a token of appreciation to the appropriate personnel whenever they have their National Appreciation Day:

February 3-7: National Counselor's Week
April 4: National Librarian Day
April 7-11: National Assistant Principal's Week
April 23: National Administrative Assistants Day
May 1: National Principal's Day
May 2: Lunch Hero Day (Cafeteria Staff)
May 5-9: National Teachers' Appreciation Week
May 7: National Nurse Day
