The Texas Purple Star Campus Designation is an honor awarded to schools that demonstrate a commitment to supporting the unique needs of military-connected students and their families. To earn this designation, campuses must meet specific criteria, including the appointment of a campus-based military liaison, creation of a dedicated webpage with resources for military families, and implementation of military-friendly initiatives, such as transition programs and staff training on military culture.
