Description

  • DeAnda Elementary School opened in 2011 as a relief campus for Mitchell and Garden Villas elementary schools.

    The school has the capacity to serve 750 students. DeAnda has five state-of-the-art labs for music, reading, math, computer and science instruction, as well as updated technology in every classroom.

    The new school, funded through the 2007 bond program, has been built to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standards and is projected to have energy savings of 28 percent.
