Description

  • Herod Elementary School is a new replacement campus for a nearly 50-year-old facility with funds from the 2007 bond program.

    The 750-student capacity school offers new technology in every classroom, as well as outdoor areas specifically for learning. The school was built with additional environmental features that reduce energy consumption while offering students additional learning opportunities.

    750 Student Elementary School Replacement on the existing campus (Pre-K to Grade 5). Phase 1 is the new school construction. Phase 2 is the demolition of the old building and completion of site work.

Project Status

  • Construction is complete and students began classes in the new building in January 2011. Herod ES has been awarded a LEED Silver Certification by the U.S. Green Building Certification Institute.
