The HISD Media Relations Office coordinates news coverage of the school district and is responsible for overseeing official communications between the school system and the news media. The office provides story ideas to media outlets (i.e., newspaper, television, radio) and helps arrange appropriate interviews. The office also provides assistance and training to school administrators regarding effective relations with the news media.
