HISD schools and departments are invited to participate in the 2023 Souper Bowl of Caring campaign through February 10, 2023.
Souper Bowl of Caring is a youth-led, national food drive that mobilizes thousands of young people to fight hunger and poverty in their communities. We ask that your donations this year support HISD’s efforts to stock the HISD Souper Pantries.
To participate, please do the following:
1. Register your school or department now to host a food drive or collect monetary donations at www.tacklehunger.org.
2. Collect - Determine whether you will collect actual food items, collect, and donate food items virtually, collect cash donations online, or all three. Then conduct the collection campaign through Friday, February 10, 2023.
Cash Donations: Cash donations can be collected online using https://hisdfoundation.kindful.com/?campaign=1169028.
For HISD Employees- Donors who contribute $25 or more will receive a jeans pass for Friday, February 10th.
Donation of Collected Food Items: Your collection of food items can be brought to the HISD Community Partnerships Department, Level I, SE, 4400 West 18th Street, Houston Texas 77092. Collection boxes are located in the building’s entrances by Friday, February 10, 2023.

4. Share - Encourage others to support the HISD effort to tackle hunger in the community and share your efforts on social media! Tweet us by using #TackleHungerHISD and/or @HISD_Partners.
