Event Day Information
TICKET INFORMATION

- School envelopes contain the purchased and complimentary (if applicable for district winners and/or finalists) tickets.
- Table number assignments are printed on tickets. Tickets cannot be duplicated.
- All attendees should have their ticket for event entry. There is one ticket per person.
- Distribute tickets to all attendees and provide parking information.
- If campuses purchased tickets for other honorees (Bil/ESL TOYs, Beginning TOYs, Nurse, etc.), ensure they have the ticket purchased by campus.
- If the tickets are at different tables (due to number of tickets purchased), understand this was assigned by order of purchase and available tables/seats in proximity.
- Attendees should be seated at the assigned table to ensure all are accommodated.
- Tickets are not sold at the event. Additional guests without a ticket will not be seated.

EVENT INFORMATION

- Attire: Elegant Roaring ‘20s (Semi-formal)
- Ideas: Cocktail or Sequin dresses; Dark suits or dressy shirt and slacks. Consider dressing in the era with a 20's Style Flapper dress (with fringe) and accessorize with feather headband, long pearls, gloves, etc.
- The banquet celebration is in the fourth (4th) floor ballroom.
- The pre-function reception (entertainment and lite bites as available) begins at 6:30 pm.
- Attendees are asked to be seated for 7:30 PM. The program begins promptly at 7:30 PM.
- Consider allowing the campus honorees courtesy time to travel home to prepare for the evening celebration banquet and travel to the event (considering traffic).
- After the banquet celebration, feel free to stay and enjoy the Big Band sounds in the fourth (4th) floor ballroom.

PARKING

- There are several events downtown (Hilton, GRB, Toyota Center). Plan for some traffic in travel time.
- Parking at Hilton Americas-Houston will be $18 Self Park and $25 Valet Park.
- Parking fee on your own. Attendants will be assisting with payments on the way into event.
- Guests are encouraged to carpool, Uber, LYFT, and arrive early to secure garage parking.
- Additional parking is available at the Toyota Center or GRB garages. May share with parking attendant that attending the HISD event at the Hilton for event rate.
